Dear family and friends,

In August 2023, our family faced heart-wrenching news. My sister-in-law Stacey Lusk was diagnosed with a stage 3 brain tumor, specifically a glioma. Despite hopes that radiation would help, it has progressed to stage 4 Glioblastoma. The tumor is now larger than 3 cm and near the brain stem, making surgery impossible. Stacey’s symptoms started in May with nausea and severe dizziness, which worsened by July. After several misdiagnoses, an MRI in early August revealed the brain tumor.

My brother Michael Lusk cannot leave Stacey alone due to her severe condition. Financially, the family is strained as Stacey’s short-term disability benefits and insurance are ending soon. They must transition to COBRA for healthcare, and this fundraiser aims to relieve some financial stress so they can focus on care and treatment. The side effects of Stacey’s ongoing treatment, including steroids, have taken a toll, and a recent MRI shows the tumor is now more aggressive. Michael and their three children, Mason, Michaela, and Noelle, are struggling as they watch Stacey fight this battle, and they recently became grandparents to a five-month-old grandson, Miles.

The impact on their family is immense, and we need your support. Please help us through the steps below:
