In Support of Jayne Ortgiesen
PLEASE HELP JAYNE RECOVER FROM THE LOSS OF HER HUSBAND, BEST FRIEND AND PARTNER IN EVERY ASPECT OF LIFE FOR THE LAST OVER 46 YEARS, LARRY ORTGIESEN. Please, FINANCIALLY AND JUST LETTING HER KNOW THAT SHE ISN'T ALONE. I have had the honor to call her my friend and she is without a doubt one of the most beautiful, selfless caring people I've ever been blessed enough to know. Even when her world is falling apart, she keeps checking on me to make sure I'm ok. In February Larry had an infection on his foot requiring partial amputation and in September went back to have the rest of his foot amputated a couple of weeks ago because the surgeon didn't get all of the infection out and with his dementia wasn't able to relay how bad it had been. The infection was into his bone, and he passed away, leaving Jayne at 7:46pm on 9/23, which wasn't a coincidence, at least to me, because they were married in July, the 7th month, and celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary this year. Holdrege, NE has certain criteria you have to follow for burials and Jayne is doing the best she can, but if anyone could help her in anyway, especially with finances since it was more than $13,000 to have Larry put to rest, I would be forever grateful and I know Jayne would be as well, she just can't ask for it because she wants to do everything on her own. She knows that she needs this, and I want to help her in anyway that I can. God Bless EVERYONE, and thank you for being there for Jayne. I know Larry has been put to rest, I started this fundraiser a week before he passed, and it's just now giving me the chance to share with you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for helping her get through this.
