Dear Family and Friends,
Jared Gilbert, a loving husband to Brittany and a father of three sons, has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Jared is the primary financial provider for his family, and now faces the challenge of aggressive treatment that will require him to be out of work for the next three months. He starts his first rounds of a combination of chemo and radiation on Monday 4/20 and will have a continuous infusion and daily treatments for an expected 8 weeks. He has been in incredible pain and it is difficult to see him in this state instead of his usual jovial self. His attitude is great and he is a believer in Christ and knows that the outcome is in the safest place possible - Gods hands. While his doctors and oncologist are optimistic about his recovery, the medical bills and loss of income pose a significant worry for Jared, adding stress that could impact his healing process.
