Jake Shane has been diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and has started chemotherapy. He will be in Rochester for the next four weeks to receive treatment and will be reassessed after that. This situation is very challenging for Jake and his family. Danielle, his wife, is driving to and from Rochester every day after dropping off Jaxson and Makayla at school. Jayda, his eldest daughter, has reduced her work hours to be with the family, despite the three-hour drive from Des Moines. The family's day-to-day life is affected greatly, and any support would mean the world to them.
