Dear friends and family, 
 
We wanted to share an update on Jack’s health. Unfortunately, his Chiari malformation has worsened, and he now needs brain surgery asap. We are on the surgery schedule, and his procedure is set for June 18th. 

As we prepare for this next chapter, we’re reaching out for support during his recovery. We had originally planned to use Meal Train, but because of the fees involved, we decided to create this fundraiser instead. 
 
Following surgery, Jack is expected to be unable to work for approximately 12–16 weeks and he hasn't been able to work the last few months due to the worsening condition. In addition to this chaos, due to medical restrictions, we will need to remain in Denver for much of his recovery. He won’t be able to return to the Gunnison Valley right away, as the elevation could impact his healing. 
 
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us cover meals, and other day-to-day needs while we focus on Jack’s recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much to us. 
 
Thank you for your love, support, prayers, and encouragement during this difficult time. We are incredibly grateful for our family, friends, and community, and we appreciate every act of kindness as we navigate the months ahead.
