There are moments in life that completely change the course of a family’s story.
For Isabella Baker, that moment came at 34 weeks pregnant when she was diagnosed with Stage II Hodgkin lymphoma.Instead of spending these final weeks of pregnancy simply preparing to welcome her baby girl, Isabella and her family are now facing countless medical appointments, difficult decisions, and the uncertainty that comes with a cancer diagnosis.
If you know Isabella, you know she is someone who finds joy in the simple things. She loves spending Sundays at church, cooking meals for the people she loves, filling her home with the smell of freshly baked treats, and, most of all, being a wife and mother. Her greatest joy has always been caring for her family.
She and her husband, Logan, are raising their sweet 2-year-old son, Micah, while eagerly awaiting the arrival of their daughter. Logan serves his community as a paramedic, dedicating his career to helping people on some of the hardest days of their lives. Now, their own family is facing one of those unimaginable days.
As Isabella prepares to deliver their baby girl and begin the fight against cancer, Logan will be balancing work, caring for Isabella during treatment, loving on a newborn and a toddler, and keeping their household running. While they are determined to face this battle together, the financial burden of medical care, time away from work, travel, and everyday expenses will be overwhelming.
