Hello family and friends,
As some of you already know, my daughter Iris was in a motorcycle accident on September 4th. Following the accident, she has been in the surgical ICU with severe injuries, including multiple fractures in her spine and ribs. Iris had emergency surgery to stabilize some of these fractures, but needed a second surgery to further stabilize her spine. Her recovery is going to be long and hard, and she will likely need therapy to help regain some movement in her legs, which have been significantly affected. Iris has no short-term disability benefits, and with the added challenge of caring for her two young children, she needs our support now more than ever.
I have set up a support registry to help maintain Irisβs home, cover utilities, and ease the burden on her family during this difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to us and will help ensure that she has the care and support she needs as she starts her journey to recovery.
