Hello friends and family,
We are reaching out because Ira Wilkes needs our help.
On Wednesday, July 8, just five days after turning 28, Ira was attacked on a street corner in Bremerton. The attack was by a random stranger and left Ira with physical injuries that, while they will heal, may worsen his chronic pain due to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. We are especially concerned about healing his brain after the traumatic brain injury to avoid long-term issues. The emotional and mental trauma, which may lead to PTSD, is also a significant concern. As Ira is underinsured, living below the poverty line, and will miss work while he recovers, he needs our financial support now more than ever. Any assistance, positive thoughts, or prayers you can offer are deeply appreciated.
If you feel moved to help Ira, here are a few actions you can take:
  1. Choose from Support Registry options
  2. 'Share' to Spread the Word to family and friends
  3. 'Follow' Updates to stay informed
