In Support of Help Sofia Walk Again, IVDD Surgery

Our sweet Sofia, who is about to be 6 years old, was recently diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD). She is the gentlest, most loving girl and has brought so much joy, comfort, and unconditional love into our lives.

This condition is really every dachshund owner’s worst nightmare, and on top of the emotional stress, I am personally recovering from my own injury of a fractured foot. This makes an already difficult situation even more challenging financially and physically.

Sofia now needs veterinary care, treatment, and ongoing support to give her the best possible chance to heal and return to the happy, playful life she deserves. 
Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean so much to us and would go directly toward Sofia’s veterinary care and recovery.
