Hi family and friends
Yesterday, our family faced something we never could have imagined. A tornado swept through our area, and our sweet dog Kevin was outside in the backyard when it happened. A tree fell and struck Kevin, causing a terrible fracture that shattered his femur. Air built up around his lungs, leaving him with serious injuries. He needs immediate veterinary care to recover from these injuries. Our hearts are absolutely broken, but Kevin is still fighting for his life. Unfortunately, his leg is too damaged and to save him from more pain, we need to have it amputated. The costs of treatment, surgery, and recovery are more than we can afford on our own.
Kevin is not just a pet; he is a cherished member of our family. We want more than anything to bring him home and help him heal. He can live happily on three legs, but we need your support to make this happen. We are asking for help because we can't cover these unexpected expenses alone. Any amount, no matter how small, would be a huge help for Kevin's care and recovery. If you can't donate, sharing Kevin's story would be just as valuable to our family.
