Welcome to Harrison’s SupportNow Page
On June 10 at 6:19 a.m., Ashley and Kenny welcomed their precious son, Harrison, into the world. What should have been a day filled with joy quickly became the beginning of an unexpected journey.
Shortly after birth, doctors discovered that Harrison’s heart was not circulating blood properly throughout his body. He was immediately transferred to the NICU, then to the Pediatric Cardiac ICU, where specialists worked to stabilize him. After extensive testing, Harrison was diagnosed with a serious congenital heart defect requiring specialized care.
To give him the best possible chance, Harrison was airlifted to Gainesville, where he is receiving expert pediatric cardiac care. The road ahead is expected to include multiple open heart surgeries, ongoing treatment, and a lengthy hospital stay.
Ashley and Kenny have recently met with an advocate and are beginning the process of identifying resources and support available to their family. While this journey is just beginning, they know they cannot walk it alone.
This page was created so family, friends, and the community can rally around the Carters in whatever way they are able. Whether you choose to donate, bring a meal, lend a hand, leave a note of encouragement, or simply pray for Harrison, every act of kindness helps lighten the load and reminds this family they are not facing this alone.
Thank you for standing with Ashley, Kenny, and sweet Harrison during this difficult season. Your prayers, generosity, and encouragement mean more than words can express.
Ashley and Kenny originally shared Harrison’s journey through GoFundMe but have now moved to SupportNow so everything can be managed in one place. The total shown here reflects the amount already raised through GoFundMe so their progress is carried forward. Their GoFundMe will be discontinued, and all future updates, donations, meals, prayer requests, and ways to lend a hand will be shared here. SupportNow helps keep everything in one place while allowing more of each donation to remain with Harrison and his family.
