In Support of Oakland (Eddie and Hannah Haber)

On Saturday, August the 8th, our family received the heartbreaking news that my 2, soon to be 3, year old nephew has leukemia. 

He was taken to the ER on Friday evening, then transported to the Children’s ICU department at Arnold Palmer, over an hour away. 
He’s been receiving round the clock blood transfusions which helped get his blood cell counts and platelets up to the levels they needed it to be. Because of that, they were able to insert a port, did a bone marrow biopsy, and a spinal tap on Tuesday the 11th. 

His treatment plan at the moment will be a very hard, until he’s 5 years old. 
Chemotherapy and infusions every 2 weeks (over an hour away,) and they will require him to stay in the hospital for 2-3 days. 
They will also have check ups at the same hospital every two weeks, I’m between possibly requiring a one 1 night stay.
