In Support of Hale

Hello, family and friends.

As many of you know, a year ago today my dad had a stroke followed by seizures. Since then, I've made multiple trips from Alabama to help my family, especially to take care of my dad and stepmom, who is paralyzed from Multiple Sclerosis. Unfortunately, two weeks before Christmas, my dad fell and hit his head, leading to severe bleeding on the brain, and he passed away shortly after. We've now moved my little sister and mom to Michigan so my sister can help with my stepmom's care. Recently, my mom had a minor stroke, and with no medical insurance, we are in urgent need of financial support as bills continue to pile up.

During this challenging time, I had to take off several weeks of work from August 2023 to June 2024, causing a significant loss of income. My situation worsened when my car, which I heavily rely on to drive between Alabama and Michigan, required new tires. My savings are exhausted, and I need about $1,600 to pay my bills for the next couple of months, plus an additional $800 to $900 for the new tires. I am overwhelmed and financially desperate but hopeful that with your support, I can navigate through these tough times and focus on my mom's health and recovery. We hope to have her medical insurance sorted out in the next 30 to 45 days.
