How SupportNow compares to Give InKind
Both platforms coordinate care beautifully. The difference is the money: one processes donations for your family, and one is a gift card marketplace that links out for cash.
- 1. When supporters round up, the beneficiary receives 100% of donations. This is unique to SupportNow. If supporters do not round up, we are proud to offer the industry's lowest 2.7% credit card processing cost, and SupportNow never adds platform fees.
- 2. Per giveinkind.com/faq ("Give InKind does not collect or manage donated funds") and their help center. Donations flow through accounts the family sets up on third-party platforms, whose own fees apply, and Give InKind's Supporters View cannot track activity on those sites. As of July 2026.
- 3. Per the Give InKind help center article on the InKind Wallet, as of July 2026.
- 4. Per the Give InKind help center article on using the calendar to give support, and giveinkind.com/faq. As of July 2026.
- 5. Per giveinkind.com/features, their help center article on fees (revenue from partner products, gift cards sold directly, and optional tips), and the Wolfe, LLC copyright on giveinkind.com. As of July 2026.
- 6. Per giveinkind.com/how-inkind-works, as of July 2026. No Premium price is published.
Three paths for the same $100 gift
When a coworker wants to put $100 behind your family, here is what actually happens on each path.
A donation lands in your family's bank. With RoundUp, the donor covers processing and your family receives the full $100.1
The card sits in an InKind Wallet for 24 hours, then gets swapped for a brand, converted to a Visa, or spent and reimbursed.3
Cash support routes to a linked platform. On GoFundMe, 2.9% + $0.30 comes out of a $100 donation, on a second account your family manages.2
One page, one login for your family, zero logins for your helpers.
You reach real people, not a help center
When your family is carrying a lot, you should not have to dig through help articles for answers. On Give InKind, support is live chat during weekday business hours. Here, it starts with a person. Call, text, chat, or email and a real human answers, from setup to payout.

Frequently asked questions
Does Give InKind handle donations?
No. Their FAQ explains that Give InKind does not collect or manage donated funds. Cash support runs through linked accounts on GoFundMe, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp, with those platforms' fees and logins, and Give InKind cannot track what happens there.
SupportNow processes donations directly. Donors can cover processing with RoundUp, and payouts go to your family's bank.
Do helpers need a Give InKind account?
Yes. Signing up to bring a meal or help through their calendar requires creating a Give InKind account, and their FAQ says the main reason is having contact information. On SupportNow, supporters help without creating an account.
Fewer steps between "I want to help" and helping.
Can I organize meals and fundraising in one place?
Yes. A Support Registry includes a meal calendar, volunteer signups, to-dos, updates, and fundraising at one link.
Your community helps in every way from one page, and your family tracks it all in one place.
