Meet Gianna, a bright and resilient 7-year-old who survived a traumatic brain injury at just four months old. Every day since, she’s shown a spirit that simply refuses to give up. Her family—Allison, Ryan, and their entire support system—has poured their hearts into giving her every opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive.
Recently, Allison attended a brain conference where she learned about a therapy that could truly change the trajectory of Gianna’s recovery: Stem Cell Therapy with Dr. Proefrock at the Total Wellness Center in Surprise, Arizona. After hearing him speak, she knew this was something worth pursuing for her daughter.
This therapy has the potential to bring meaningful gains for Gianna, but the financial burden is immense and not covered by insurance. Many friends and loved ones have asked, “How can we help?”—and after encouragement from an advocate, the family has decided to say yes to support.
Below is a clear breakdown of what Gianna’s care looks like:
•OTIEM Intensive Occupational Therapy:
$5,000 for a week of a quantitative EEG, low-leve laser therapy, and other nervous system preparation prior to receiving stem cells

$8,500 per round (travel not included)

These costs add up quickly, but each piece plays a vital role in Gianna’s progress.
