Hello, family and friends!
The dearest, most charming Westwood gem, Espresso Profeta, which many of us frequent daily, is sadly closing on September 25, 2026. After a long struggle following COVID, like many other businesses, our beloved baristas have battled monthly to keep afloat. With rent raises instead of reliefs, owners Sam and Choncey have given personal loans to the business just to serve us our favorite cup of Joe!
We are so incredibly sad to see them go. It leaves a hole in our hearts and certainly a hole in the already very vacant Westwood Village. To help them with moving and closing costs, we ask our community, who love them as much as we do, to help!
