Hello family and friends! Thank you for taking the time to pause, pray, and support our sweet warrior, Emmy Lou! 

After unexplained bruises began to appear on Emmy, an observant mama followed her heart tug and acted quickly to get a blood draw. The tests came back just hours later, with a call to action from a doctor, a helicopter ride to Doernchecher's, and a rapid diagnosis of T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Emmy Lou has three brothers so naturally she was created with an extra sprinkle of grit, and en extra dash of tough. We are rallying together to support Emmy Lou, her brothers, and her parents in any way we can. Her family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support, and are humbled by the generosity of those providing for their needs as they navigate her treatment and recovery journey. With your care and support, we can help make this journey a bit easier for the Torres family. Above all else, thank you for the covering of prayer over Emmy's body. There have already been multiple witnessed miracles and God's fingerprints smudged across this story.
