Emmett Colton

Emmett is a two year old handsome little man, who’s smile is contagious. Emmett was only 4 months old when he caught FLU-A which attacked his brain leading to encephalitis (brain swelling). The brain injury as a result of the swelling lead to a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and cortical vision impairment. Emmett is legally blind due to his cortical vision impairment, but makes learning his milestones even harder. Emmett is working hard in therapies on independently sitting. Emmett can make more progress in one week of intensive therapy then a couple months of weekly therapy’s. Our family is beyond thankful for all the support.
