Hello family and friends!

Lola, our smart, sassy, and witty 3-year-old, was taken into the ER five days after Christmas after we noticed several suspicious symptoms. Upon further bloodwork, she was diagnosed with B cell lymphocytic leukemia at just 2 years old. We were so devastated by this news! Since then our world has forever changed.  She is our miracle baby and a wonderful big sister to little Klaira. Unfortunately Lola’s had to endure so much medical trauma and countless hospital stays during this journey. No child should ever have to experience this and have their childhood ripped from them. She understands that cancer has limited her from doing many fun spontaneous things like playing at the park, spending unscheduled time with her friends and family, going to eat at her favorite restaurants, and going to Disneyland. Her childhood memories and experiences are now planned cautiously around her health and that has been something difficult for the whole family to adjust to. Despite it all, Lola continues to stay positive and brighten our lives with her fun-loving personality. We’ve done everything it takes to make sure she fights through this battle victoriously and we know that God is making a way for her complete healing. Lola has fought courageously through 5 phases of her treatment so far and will be entering into maintenance phase soon, which will be another long year and a half of treatment. 

To help support Lola and our family during this challenging time, we have set up a support registry with a goal to raise $10,000. This will help cover various costs and allow us to focus on Lola’s care. We plan to also use these funds to take Lola on one of her dream trips, Disneyland!
