George suffered a type of colic that only 4 horses including him have been diagnosed with in the world. He happened to be the only one of those that survived the surgery. A 6 hour surgery that is. Of course he did though, because he’s George. Unfortunately he was unable to get up afterwards.George has now passed away.

I appreciate everyone’s support through this as you can imagine, this will be absolutely devastating. Heartbroken does not come close to what I feel.
George was truly my everything, my entire world, and the only thing I had. I blew out every birthday candle and wished everyday for a horse like him. He saved me in more way than I can describe.
My Georgie boy was truly the best thing that has ever happened to me.
