In Support of Ebony Patterson

Hi neighbors, I’m reaching out because my sister, Ebony Patterson, who lives alone near the Katy, TX area, is in a life-threatening medical crisis and urgently needs help.

Ebony has been hospitalized for months after losing her son and undergoing six stomach surgeries, sepsis, a colostomy bag and reversal, and now a mesh hernia with severe scar tissue. She is bed-bound, unable to walk without falling, unable to shower, unable to cook, and unable to work. She spends long hours alone with no one in the home to help her until I can get off work.

I’m a single parent of three, and I’m the only person caring for her, which has become extremely challenging. Ebony used all her savings trying to keep up with bills while hospitalized, and now she is at risk of eviction, losing electricity, and losing her phone, which she needs for emergencies. Nurses who have visited her can verify her condition.
