Supporting Natalia and Dylan: A Sister's Appeal
As Natalia's sister and Dylan's aunt, I've had the profound privilege of witnessing the unwavering love and dedication Natalia pours into caring for her son. Dylan, our miracle boy, was diagnosed at just 10 months old with MECP2 duplication syndrome, epilepsy, and cortical visual impairment. Now 15 years old, he faces daily challenges—he uses a wheelchair, is fed through a G-tube, and requires around-the-clock care.
Natalia, a single mother and Dylan's sole caregiver, has devoted her life to ensuring he receives the best possible care. However, as Dylan's condition progresses, the physical and emotional demands on Natalia have intensified. To enhance Dylan's quality of life and ease the caregiving burden, we are seeking support for two critical needs:

Ceiling Lift Installation: A ceiling lift system, estimated at $30,000, would allow Natalia to safely and comfortably transfer Dylan between rooms, reducing the physical strain on her and minimizing the risk of injury for both.

In-Home Therapy: Dylan requires specialized in-home therapy, costing approximately $19,200 annually. Unfortunately, this essential service is not covered by insurance, placing a significant financial strain on Natalia.
