Hello to our family and friends. We’re reaching out to share news about our dear Dr. Lori Simon (nee Larrick), who sadly passed away on July 12, 2026, at the age of 64. Lori faced an illness that took her from us too soon, and unfortunately, she had not made any end-of-life preparations. With no close family to help with the costs, we are stepping in to honor her memory with a Celebration of Life.
Lori was a beacon of light for many. As a counselor, she worked tirelessly with victims and perpetrators of violent abuse, sharing her wisdom and compassion. Her impact reached even further as she touched the lives of friends, neighbors, and many she met at Renaissance Faires. Her kind words, soothing voice, and infectious laughter made a difference in so many lives, and even in her last months, she gave all she could to others.
We invite you to help us celebrate Lori's life and legacy by joining our support efforts. Please consider taking these important actions:
