Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. I want to share something personal and ask for your support during a difficult and unexpected time.
Recently, I had to undergo emergency surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy). This was completely unexpected, and as a single mom, it has been especially challenging. My doctor has instructed me to take at least three-six weeks to rest and recover so that I can heal properly.
This is also the time of year when I'm normally preparing my son for the upcoming school year—buying school supplies, clothes, shoes, and everything he needs to start the year successfully. Unfortunately, because of this emergency surgery, I'm unable to work and currently have no income.
As an entrepreneur without health insurance, I'm also facing mounting medical expenses for hospital bills, medications, follow-up appointments, and other recovery-related costs. While my goal is to raise $5,000 to help cover these expenses and support my family during this recovery, I don't expect to reach that amount. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would be an incredible blessing and would help ease the burden during this difficult season.
