Dear family and friends,

In June 2026, I was diagnosed with stage 4 oral cancer. I am going through surgery to remove the tumor on August 19, 2026. This surgery required the removal of my left lower mandible and a bone replacement from my left leg, as well as a skin flap taken from my left leg to reconstruct my left cheek. The recovery is expected to take 3-5 months. I have been approved for Social Security disability, but due to the 5-month Social Security disability rules, I'm stuck not being able to work and unable to draw disability. This is where I ask for your help getting through the next 5 months. Hopefully, I can return to work part-time in November.
