Dear Family,
Some seasons last longer than others, and this one has reached deeply into my ability to carry everything alone.
As many of you know, I am still under a doctor’s care following a serious vehicle wreck this summer. The injuries changed my ability to work and support myself the way I normally would, but I did not stop trying. I found work that supports my recovery and have been doing gig work in the meantime while waiting for steady income to begin.
The last 48 hours changed everything.
If you are one of the people who has already helped me through these last few days, please know how deeply grateful I am. Your support helped me get through an immediate crisis, and I do not take that kindness lightly.
Because my own vehicle has been out of service, I have been relying on my daughter’s vehicle to keep working and manage day-to-day responsibilities. Yesterday, that vehicle was impounded, cutting off the transportation I have been depending on to keep income coming in.
My immediate goal is to raise $5,000 to recover the vehicle, stop the growing impound and storage costs, and help me protect my housing while I transition into steady income from my new job.
I am now asking for the biggest help I have had to ask for in years.
If you are able to contribute, I would be deeply grateful. No amount is too small, and sharing this page with someone who may be able to help matters too.
I am choosing transparency because I cannot solve this one alone.
