First and foremost, weโre asking for prayers for my mom, Christy Benavidez, and her entire care team as she goes through surgery and recovery. ๐๐ผ๐
My mom had to travel to Seattle for emergency surgery and is now facing post-op complications that require a longer hospital stay. After surgery today, sheโll need to be tube-fed for at least two weeks, possibly up to six weeks, along with frequent trips to Seattle for follow-up care.
She was also supposed to start a new job, but unfortunately hasnโt been able to, putting her in a difficult financial situation.
