In Support of Carter Lingenfelter

Carter Lingenfelter
Hello to all our dear family and friends.
Carter Lingenfelter is a brave 12-year-old boy who has been living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) his entire life. This is a rare and progressive disorder that affects his muscles, making them weaker over time. Carter has undergone gene therapy, but his mobility is now rapidly declining. He uses a motorized wheelchair, but everyday activities that we might take for granted are becoming more difficult for him. He's at a stage where more help is needed to ensure he can continue to enjoy school and the activities that every child should have the chance to do.
His loving single mom, Kristen, who is a full time working nursing assistant with two jobs, at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Dayton Hospice has devoted her life to supporting Carter. Our goal is to help them get an accessible vehicle, something crucial for Carter's growing needs. This vehicle will allow him to move safely and easily, giving him the independence and dignity he deserves. It would mean the world to this wonderful Ohio family, and we deeply appreciate any support you can offer.
