Hello Family and Friends,
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help. Our mother, Carlyse Hagler-Mantey, has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and she is about to begin a long and challenging journey toward healing. We believe in the power of faith, and we hold onto that belief now more than ever.
On 5/8/25, we received devastating news that our mom has cancer. This comes after she fought and overcame thyroid cancer in 2019. All her current health issues and complications are linked to her gastric bypass from 2020. Many don’t know that in September 2024, she faced a life-threatening emergency involving a bowel intussusception—her intestines wrapped around each other. She couldn’t hold down food and couldn’t use the bathroom. If she hadn’t gone to the hospital when she did, she might not be here to tell her story.
Since that time, she has been battling constant pain, difficulty eating daily, and a heavy burden of uncertainty. On May 5th, she reached a point where she could no longer endure the pain and was admitted to the hospital. After scans and tests, we were told she has cancer. It’s a heavy weight to carry, but we believe that with God's grace, she will overcome this. We trust in His plan, and we know He has the final say. We stand firm in faith that she is not alone in this fight.
The financial burden of her upcoming treatment is overwhelming. Our mother is unable to work and will need assistance with medical bills, daily care, and other expenses. This journey will be long and difficult, but we are holding onto hope and the promise that God is in control. Any monetary donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference and bring her peace of mind. Every contribution helps her focus on healing and trusting in His divine plan.
