Hello family and friends! We want to share a bit about what's been happening with our sweet baby Caden.
Caden's journey has been challenging from the start. At just 20 weeks, we learned he would need open-heart surgery. When he was 2 months old, his heart was too weak and he went through a lot, including a cardiac arrest and time on a machine called ECMO. As the months went by, Caden faced many health hurdles, including getting a GJ-tube and being trached in February 2022. He was also diagnosed with infantile spasms and seizures, which resulted in many hospital visits. 2023 brought some relief with fewer hospital stays, but in early January, Caden had more seizures that changed everything. After some concerns and tests, we discovered a bleed on his skull from a past seizure. Since then, he has been slowly recovering but continues to face health challenges.
We appreciate your love and support as we navigate this journey with Caden. Here's how you can help:
  1. Choose from Support Registry options
  2. 'Share' to Spread the Word to family and friends
  3. 'Follow' Updates to stay informed
