In Support of Brandin Ambrose

Hello everyone! I am starting this fundraiser for my boyfriend Brandin. Some of you already know but he went to the hospital on August 26th because of unexplained bleeding that wound up being from ulcers in his colon. Those were biopsied and we received the results that it was cancer on September 1st. The next day we had a follow up with a surgeon to discuss next steps. They were able to get him in for surgery on September 11th. This surgery would be to remove his Appendix, part of his Small Intestine, about half of his Colon and do biopsies of Lymph Nodes. He’s been out of work since September 10th and will not be able to return until about October 13th. He’s has been recovering well from surgery and progressing well too! Today, September 21st, we found out that the Cancer is Stage 3 and there is some evidence of cancer from his pathology report. So, what’s next? He needs chemotherapy. He has an appointment with an Oncologist on September 28th and we will start the conversation about what will be the best treatment plan for him. This has all happened extremely fast and we’re both grateful for how kind his doctors and surgeons have been. They have been aggressively working to make sure he’s getting care quickly because they believe he’s had this since about 2022… Him and I are asking for support while we actively work to get him healthy again and back to doing what he loves! We are also actively working to get him health insurance and additional medical coverage to pay for his recent hospital stays, any and all surgical procedures, lab work, doctors appointments and chemotherapy. This fundraiser will help with all his medical expenses and help us pay his bills while he is out of work. Thank you to everyone who has already been so supportive during all of this! I love him so much and he deserves everything good in this world. It’s been heart breaking seeing him go through this. He won’t be able to disc golf for a while so he can really only enjoy his other hobby, playing Magic the Gathering. Brandin is the sweetest, most caring, loving, gentle man I’ve ever met. Ever since he came into my life, I’ve become a better version of myself. And I just want to do anything and everything I can to make sure he gets back to his healthy, goofy self. I chose a picture of us smiling to represent this fundraiser mostly to remind us of all the good things we’ve been through so far together but also because there is a  light that is at the end of this tunnel. Even through all of this he still manages to make sure I’m cracking smiles and laughing. He’s is amazing and I admire his strength during all of this.❤️
