Help a Retired Firefighter on His Road to Recovery
Brad Allamon is a retired firefighter from the Round Rock area who dedicated 26 years of his life to serving our community. Throughout his career, Brad ran into danger when others ran out — saving countless homes and families under some of the most harrowing conditions imaginable. He also spent years training the next generation of firefighters, passing on the skills and courage that define a true first responder.
Now, Brad and his family need our help.
Recently, Brad suffered a devastating fall inside his own home. He broke his hip and shattered his right arm in two places. He underwent major surgery for both injuries at the same time, including a full hip replacement. Thankfully, the surgeries were successful, and Brad is now beginning the long process of recovery.
But the road ahead is not an easy one.
The cost of his surgeries alone will exceed $150,000 — a staggering amount that does not yet include the extensive physical therapy he'll need to regain his strength and independence. Before he can return to the simple joys of daily life — playing with his grandchildren, enjoying time with his family, and moving freely again — he has months of rehabilitation ahead.
This is where we come in.
Brad has spent his life showing up for others in their darkest moments. Now it's our turn to show up for him. Every dollar, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering his medical bills and therapy costs, and easing the tremendous financial burden weighing on the Allamon family during this difficult time.
