👋 Meet Bohdan
Our darling Bohdan was born a healthy boy, and the first baby our little family welcomed so eagerly. At 1.5 months old, he fell ill with herpes, and due to doctors' misdiagnosis, his treatment resulted in prolonged delays. This led to severe complications, including inflammation of the brain cortex, seizures, and a critical condition that required him to be placed on a ventilator in the intensive care unit. He was later diagnosed with symptomatic epilepsy, which led to a present-time diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy (CP). Despite undergoing years of rehabilitation with physiotherapists and speech therapists, Bohdan is still unable to walk, sit, eat, or speak independently. All the simple activities it takes us, or an average human, to complete with ease.

👋 Познайомтесь із Богданом
Наш дорогоцінний Богданчик народився здоровим хлопчиком і став першим малюком, якого наша маленька родина так радісно чекала. У 1,5 місяці він захворів на герпес, і через неправильний діагноз лікарів лікування затягнулося, що призвело до важких ускладнень, включаючи запалення кори головного мозку, судоми та критичний стан, який вимагав підключення до апарату штучної вентиляції легенів у реанімації. Пізніше йому поставили діагноз симптоматична епілепсія, яка згодом призвела до нинішнього діагнозу — дитячий церебральний параліч (ДЦП). Незважаючи на роки реабілітації з фізіотерапевтами та логопедами, Богдан досі не може самостійно ходити, сидіти, їсти чи говорити. Усі прості дії, які ми, як правило, виконуємо без зусиль.
