Bjorn Hunter is an amazing 5-year-old boy who has already overcome more challenges than many face in a lifetime. Born at 23 weeks and weighing just 1 lb 11 oz, Bjorn has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy—but these diagnoses don’t define him. What defines him is his courage, determination, and joyful spirit.
Bjorn is currently working so hard to learn to walk and live life as fully and independently as possible. To support his progress, he needs several critical tools and therapies that are not fully covered by insurance.
We’re hoping to raise funds for:
Levity Walker – a dynamic support walker that gives Bjorn the freedom to safely practice walking
🧡 Cost: Just under $9,000
Wheelchair modifications – essential customizations to improve his comfort, posture, and mobility
🧡 Cost: Around $2,000
Therapy Intensives – focused, multi-day sessions with specialists that can accelerate his progress
🧡 Cost: $5,000–$7,000 before travel and lodging
Additional needs – including travel expenses, adaptive tools, and accessibility equipment
