Ballots Y Botanas is here to help make voting easy and fun!
We know how confusing ballots can be, and with all the noise on TV and social media, it's hard to find the truth. We're bringing together resources in both English and Spanish to answer your questions. We'll help you learn more about who and what's on the ballot, their funding sources, and how they support the issues most important to us.
If you already have your vote ready, join us for some fun conversation with yummy food and music.

We need your support to make this event a success! Your donations will help us provide food, entertainment, and fun prizes for everyone. This event is led by Danny Verbrugge, a community advocate, making sure it's grassroots and true to what our community cares about. Unlike some nonprofits, we can freely discuss and advocate for the issues we care about.

Danny Verbrugge | Community Interpreter and Founder of Linguistics International (website)
Danny (he/him) is a native of Colombia and proud resident of Grand Rapids. Recognizing a critical need for equitable access to services for English Language Limited (ELL) individuals he founded Linguistics International — which provides interpreter training and language services. Danny’s career has focused on linguistics, international development, and nonprofit leadership. He is dedicated to community advocacy and collective action to create pathways for sustainable growth and meaningful participation in society for all neighbors.
