Hello family and friends! We hope this message finds you well.
The Balk/Krutz Family needs our help after a tornado hit their home in Menasha. πͺοΈ Their lives have been turned upside down. They are working hard to rebuild and get back to normal as soon as they can. Right now, any support you can give matters a lot. Let's come together and help them through this tough time.
I am currently on maternity leave, caring for our newborn, when our lives were turned upside down. The storm caused severe damage that resulted in flooding at my business, damage to our home, and our storage unit was completely destroyed. My studio has been forced to close while we wait for inspections and determine what repairs are needed, leaving me without my primary source of income during a time when our family is already relying on a reduced income.
As a small business owner, this has been incredibly difficult. My business isnβt just my jobβitβs something Iβve poured my heart into for years, and itβs how I support my family. Right now, weβre doing everything we can to recover, including exploring a temporary location so I can continue serving my clients once itβs safe to do so.
The funds raised will help us with:
Temporary business relocation and operating expenses
Replacing damaged equipment, supplies, and inventory
Home and storage unit recovery costs
Lost income while the studio is closed
Supporting our family as we rebuild during maternity leave
