Support the Ottery-Szokody Family after Tragic Loss
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
We are reaching out to you during a time of unfathomable heartbreak and crisis for Anikó and her two children. As many of you know, just this past summer, Aniko suffered the devastating loss of her husband Will. As she navigates this profound grief, she is doing everything she can to care for her boys, who loved their father dearly. Their family of four is now a family of three.
Money is extremely tight. One of their boys is a university student, the other one is just finishing high school. Anikó had to borrow money for Will’s medical expenses. In addition to losing Will’s income, the family has discovered that the rental property they own in upstate New York was severely damaged by tenants and a negligent property management company. The damage has led to a complete loss of rental income and severe depreciation of the only asset the family owns. The damages are catastrophic, with professional estimates exceeding $60,000.
As you probably know, Aniko is tenacious, hard working, private, and proud. She is bearing this burden and is not one to ask for help, but the reality is, even though she is working three jobs to make ends meet, she needs our help.
We want to take the financial burden off her shoulders so she can focus on healing her family and fixing the rental house. Every single dollar raised will assist the family and be used to pay for:

* School expenses
* Supplies and basic necessities
