Dear Friends and Family of Billy and Amy Sowders,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Billy Sowders.

On Wednesday, May 15th, Billy suffered a massive stroke at home. Despite getting immediate medical care and several surgeries and procedures, the damage was too great from which to recover. Billy went home to heaven the following Monday, May 20th, with his family by his side. As many of us are now trying to process the great loss for the Sowders Family, we are all wanting to love and support Amy and the children the best we can. The greatest immediate need the family has would be reprieve from expenses and finacial commitments for a month or two so they can grieve and gradually get back to work without worrying about all of the financial pressures they face without Billy’s income.

If you and your loved ones would care to help, donations are best right now. Please reach out to Laura Zednick or Darcy Davidson with any additional questions.

Thank you for coming together to love and support the Sowders Family as they have greatly touched our lives through coaching, volunteering, teaching our littles, and just being great friends and neighbors. And above all, thank you for the prayers. God will carry them through this difficult season.

Psalms 146:9   "The Lord protects and helps... the fatherless and the widow..."

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus.
