Hello, dear family and friends.

I never imagined I would be asking for help like this. I’m Amanda, a mom of four boys, and for the past several months, our family has been going through a very hard time due to domestic violence. What started as a hopeful family life turned into a scary situation where my kids and I faced trauma, fear, legal battles, and a new, uncertain future.

Recently, I was assaulted, and my teenage son was hurt while trying to protect me. My children have seen things no child should witness. We're dealing with court processes and the challenges of ending my marriage to keep my children safe. Unable to work because I need to care for them, the costs keep adding up for housing, transportation, legal help, and counseling.

Our goal isn’t just to get by but to have a safe home, where we can heal without worrying about finances. We need help with essential expenses like housing, food, transportation, legal and counseling costs, and activities for the kids. Asking for help is hard, but putting my children first is my priority now.
