Our dear friend, Adonay Solleiro, passed away unexpectedly after experiencing cardiac arrest while hiking Angel's Rest in the Columbia River Gorge.
Adonay loved the outdoors, and had a particular fondness for this trail with its expansive views overlooking the Gorge. While his family and friends navigate this tremendous loss, we’re trying to find a shred of solace knowing that he left this world doing one of the things he loved most – which was hiking Oregon’s beautiful and vast wilderness.
His passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him. While we grieve this heartbreaking loss, we also want to celebrate the person he was with his adventurous and forever-young-spirit. He had a special talent for bringing people together through music, salsa, hiking, climbing or throwing a party, so it only feels right to celebrate his life in the same way that he lived it –which was through bringing his family and friends together.
We are asking for your support to help ease the financial burden on Adonay's family during this difficult time. All funds raised will go directly toward his funeral expenses, lawyer fees, and a celebration of his life, giving his family, friends, and loved ones the opportunity to gather, honor his memory, and say goodbye.
