Hello!
I’m Abby, a single mom to three wonderful kids and a full-time nursing student. I'm just 10 months away from finishing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Concordia St. Paul University (Portland campus). Becoming a nurse is not only a career goal for me, it’s a path to a stable future for my children and a way to help others.
Right now, we are going through a very tough time. The demands of my nursing program make it hard for me to earn enough money to cover our housing and living costs. Despite applying for financial aid, scholarships, and any assistance programs possible, it's still very difficult to manage everything on my own and keep pursuing my dream.
Asking for help is not easy, but I have reached a point where I need support. If you can help, even small contributions can make a big difference. It will help us stay in our home and keep me on track to becoming a registered nurse. Every little bit helps cover essential costs like rent, utilities, and transportation to school. If you’re unable to donate, I completely understand. Spreading the word or offering encouragement means a lot to us, too! I'm incredibly thankful for any help you can offer, and I hope to repay the kindness I receive when I’m able to work as a nurse and give back to others.
