Our dear friend Jim Marquardt is in the fight of his life. Jim is at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis, hoping for a life-saving liver transplant. He is battling non-alcoholic liver disease. The waiting period is tough, filled with long hospital stays and many uncertainties. As he and Dar go through this, they face financial challenges that add to their stress.
Jim and Dar are dealing with a lot—costs for travel, lodging, daily needs, and the expenses linked to transplant care. It’s crucial they don’t have to worry about money, not when so much focus is needed on Jim’s health and recovery. If you’ve ever known Jim, you know how much he cares for others. It’s our turn to care for him and Dar.
