"Day 42.
We continue to pray and wait for my husband to come home. It is hard to watch the world around you continue to spin and move, while you long to exhale and release the breath you feel trapped inside. My kids don't stop growing, bills don't stop coming, appointments still need to be attended to and decisions needing to be made arise. This valley is dark but we have seen God move and meet our family here. Thank you for standing with us and for showering our family with so much love and giving us constant reminders we are not alone. Please continue to share and support in any way you can. I am open to messages and calls as this can feel isolating at times. God bless each one of you!"
Uriel's status has not changed. He is still being detained in a Texas facility until a scheduled hearing for late March. Please continue to donate or sign up for volunteer slots if you can: https://signup.com/go/pYsWEBP . Please continue to share our story! The waiting period is brutal. It's meant to crush the families' hopes and tire out the detainee. We are continuing our fight no matter what. If you feel inclined to reach out with words of support that would be so welcomed! Thank you all.
