The Heat Struck Me

Hi everyone! I’ve been kinda quiet because I had a little run-in with the heat. I’m on medication that makes it more difficult for my body to regulate temperature and I have known sensitivities to heat. Over the weekend, I jumped up from a nap and dove straight into a fun project with my beloved neighbor — my body shut that down super fast. Of course, I didn’t notice anything until she pointed out I looked hot. Y’all. The Heat Got Me So Out of Wack. I got violently ill and sweaty and sick. I have lost my voice. Seriously, four days later and I cannot speak. Still. Of course, Justin thinks this is kinda funny (and it is!!) because I’m usually so, uhh expressive, we’ll call it. I’m a little lonely because I can’t express my thoughts as easily! It’s been a learning experience for sure and never have I been more grateful for an able voice. Nice reminder to use it for the lifting of others. 
Move news? More contract negotiation with a company collecting every penny. Even our rock-steady realtor expressed frustration with the company. One foot in front of the other is progress. Onward!
