Wins and opportunities

This has been such a week! We have had some real advancements in our home purchase: the appraisal and FHA inspections are done (with to-do lists), we are working on moving the closing date to Aug 31 (our absolutely amazing and highly recommended contractor needed to get the house permits and wall demo going), our landlord (bless her heart) agreed to let us stay another month. The opportunities we now have include: coming up with another months rent from scratch before our first paycheck hits, praying feverishly over Val (our indelible 2005 Volvo XC-90 with a gazillion miles on the engine), and the uncountable little things that arise when moving out of state and gearing up for a new school year. 
We are incredibly grateful. I am incredibly grateful to you for reading along with our story and for every kind word and wish on our behalf.
