9/9/2026 Update:

Despite a couple setbacks including a left collapsed lung and intrinsic blood within this lung, today was an overall good day for Bryan. The doctors report the lung issues are not atypical for his injuries and they are currently determining whether or not to medically intervene or allow his body to heal naturally. Because of this setback, Bryan remains in ICU to receive around the clock care, and Ellie cannot visit him at this time. We remain hopeful she will be reunited with her dad in the coming days.

The GOOD news is that, with support, Bryan was able to transition to a chair today, and even cruised around in a motorized hospital chair! The doctors and therapists have reported his progress to be significant to date, and they continue to feel optimistic about his prognosis. We are encouraged by this progress and remain hopeful that much more healing and recovery is in store for him. Bryan remains in good spirits and is eager to begin the healing process.

More uplifting news is that Bryan may be coming home sooner than we expected. While we welcome this report, it puts us on a tighter timeline to secure the funds needed to purchase the mobility van, outfit their home, and build a ramp.

The mobility van we are currently looking at for Bryan, Katie and Ellie is a 2020 Honda and is approximately $44,000. While we are overwhelmed with financial support so far, we are pushing to reach this goal within the next week. Our fundraising so far puts us around $43,000 - just shy of the money needed to purchase this van.

We are asking our village here and beyond, to please share Bryan's story with anyone and everyone that may feel led to support our mission. We know that with your support, we can achieve this goal; and in doing so, completely lift the financial burden of purchasing a mobility van off of Bryan and Katie's shoulders.

We remain humbled and overwhelmed with your donations, love and support. We thank you, over and over again, to the moon and back.

With love and gratitude.

Let's do this!
