Mom was deemed safe to take off oxygen! This is wonderful news. Her kidney doctor visited us today and is pleased with the progress of them.
Chemo will resume tomorrow.
We ate dinner and watched 'Golden Girls', laughter is the best medicine and my Mom's laugh is the most amazing sound.
She had a really good day, was able to have another conversation with her point doctor on her team. A cardiologist was added to her team to do some tests and exams of her heart, so please pray that.
My Mom's team are wonderful people, very kind and compassionate, they're personable and efficient. It brings a lot of comfort and reassurance knowing that my Mom is in good hands here at the hospital and that they are so intentional and careful with every aspect of her care, treatments and road to recovery.
My brother was able to see her today, it was wonderful, good for both of them.
Even though there are still things in my moms body that need thorough TLC, we know that God is moving and working. The fact that she's alive today is an absolute miracle, the team at the hospital saved her life and we are very thankful for them.
Thank you for reading this and for your continued prayers, they mean the world.
