WOW, We wanted to start off by saying a sincere THANK YOU to every single person that has shared, followed and/or donated for our Sienna girl. We are so incredibly appreciative! 

What's happening this week- Sienna is starting to spontaneously vocalize more with her speaking valve on. A HUGE accomplishment also occurred yesterday- She took three sips of water independently through the straw of her honey bear cup!! For anyone that knew Sienna prior to her brain injury, you know that she LOVED drinking her water and it was a huge motivator for her. We are so excited to see this breaking milestone happen. It re-assures faith in our girl that she is unstoppable and makes us even more excited for her intensive therapy in Boston at the end of the year. 

Insurance approved her own personal AAC eye gaze device! Another huge win, as it is often difficult to justify approval for this. This AAC device allows Sienna to continue to learn how to communicate with her eyes to us/ people around her.  

T-minus ONE WEEK until discharge home!!!!!
