Just a quick update 🤍

I’ve had to slow down quite a bit lately, with some days completely halted due to increasing nerve pain from a tumor that has shifted. I’m currently using pain medication and steroids to manage symptoms, but it’s not a long-term solution.

The good news is my organs are functioning well and labs are stable, but my cancer markers have risen slightly—so my doctors and I are digging deeper to figure out what’s still feeding this.

This week we’re expanding my care team, including a functional medicine doctor, and focusing heavily on gut health and overall balance. I’m also being evaluated for a clinical trial immunotherapy that matches my genetics.

The next couple of weeks will be full, and I’m grateful my sister Brittany will be here to help.

Thanks for the update. I'm so glad Brittany is with you. I have some resources that some of the members of the HealingStrong group sent me that may help you with meals and cleaning, but I know you are not checking email much and that it might be overwhelming to check on those. So, if Brittany could email me than I can send it to her. --Betty

So sorry for the increased nerve pain, and the rising cancer markers. You’ll have to keep us updated on what ends up being found out about that! Sure, love you and will pray for you right now.
