On March 11,2025, we had to be at the hospital at 5:30 am to get ready for his procedures.  Nick went to pre-op and got ready and then they took him to the OR.  We went down to get some breakfast and we hadn't been back at no time at all and he already had his port removed!  After that procedure, they took him straight to the cath lab.  Then he went to recovery for a while.  The doctor came in and spoke to us and said that his heart looked "phenomenal!"  They were very happy with how well his heart is doing.  Since it is doing so great, he more than likely will not have to have another heart cath for TWO years.  After Nick finally woke up in recovery, he was put in a room on 8th floor for observation for the night.  He don't do well with anesthesia, so we would rather be safe than sorry and stay at least one night.  

The next morning, Nick was taken down to get his G/J tube replaced.  He had gained so much weight, the button was digging into his skin.  They went up to a bigger size.  He did very well with that, so we were actually packed up and headed home by 12:30 pm.
